Begin making plans NOW to join Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry for the Feast of Tabernacles 2004 at Chickasaw State Park in Henderson, Tennessee. NOW is the time to begin putting away second tithes in preparation for this great observance.

     We have visited the park and learned the following: Feastgoers for FOT 2004 can lodge in either a bunkhouse located at the group camp where the Feast will be held, or in a furnished one-bedroom cabin located several miles away at Chickasaw’s main campground, or in a furnished two-bedroom cabin located at nearby Chickasaw Chalet.

     The group camp has a total of 17 separate, well-maintained bunkhouses. Each bunkhouse includes six to eight bunk beds, a small closet area for personal belongings, and electricity. Those staying in a bunkhouse should bring all bedding, all toiletries, and a small electric heater. The price per bunkhouse will be $150.00 for the entire stay of the feast. Each bunkhouse is in walking distance to the meeting hall with its kitchen facilities, bathhouses, private 50-acre lake, and all other facilities located at the group camp. Registration for the bunkhouses must be made through Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry.

     For the adventurous and young at heart the group camp also offers space for basic tenting. There are no electrical hookups, so those who plan to tent should come prepared with a propane heater or some alternative source of heat. The price for tenting will be $5 per day per family (no limit to the number of tents per family).

Chickasaw State Park is holding nine cabins for Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry at the main campground. These one-bedroom cabins sleep four to six persons and are fully equipped for housekeeping. The charming cabins, nestled among tall pines and located within easy access to Lake Placid, include a fireplace, full kitchen, phone and satellite television. These cabins also contain all linens, dishes, silverware, utensils, and cookware. The main camp is about ten miles from the group camp. The price per cabin will be approximately $75 per day. Chickasaw’s main campground also offers RV and tent sites with full hookups. Make your reservations with Chickasaw State Park at 800-458-1752.      The last option, Chickasaw Chalet, offers five large cabins in a rustic setting just five minutes from the group camp. These two-bedroom cabins include two queen beds, one queen sleeper, washer/dryer, color TV/VCR combo, and a full kitchen, which includes a full-size stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, and coffee pot. These cabins also come equipped with all linens, dishes, silverware, utensils, and cookware. The price is comparable to the cabins located at Chickasaw State Park.
