Superlatives can't describe the 2012 Feast of Tabernacles experience at Indiana's Shakamak State Park, hosted by Yahweh's Restoration Ministry.
So what was so special this year? Was it the whirlwind of new and unique activities that made the days fly by? Was it the many creative and captivating sermons and Bible studies that opened our minds to new depths of understanding, or the discovery of musical talents we didn't know were among us? Was it the highlight of five baptisms at both ends of the Feast, when the Body of Messiah welcomed new believers to Yahweh's truths? Or was it the wonderful fellowship in the meeting hall and at the big nightly campfire, along with blessed peace and tranquility that pervaded everywhere in the camp?
Or maybe it was the many who came for the first time to a YRM Feast, commenting that they had never experienced anything like it at any previous Feast? And don't forget the unique field trip to the pioneer village, the several delicious barbecues and common meals, the south-of-the-border cook-off, and the puppet show, the outdoor and indoor games and Ultimate Feast Challenge for the young and the athletic.
Actually, all of this and much, much more made it special this year. You had to be there to know. And if you were not there this year, we are truly sorry. You missed an uncommon and very exceptional event. Yahweh doesn't command these days as optional. Attend and you'll be blessed, that's His promise. Will you be blessed next year? We hope you are already making firm plans to keep Yahweh's days in the future and to honor Him with your actions and not with mere promises. Yahweh wants our obedient hearts, not broken commitments.
