Ninevah

Jonah

Jonah was a prophet.  One day Yahweh told Jonah to go to Ninevah.  Jonah did not want to go so he boarded a ship to Tarship. Then a wind was at sea and the sailors were frightened.  Then one of them found Jonah asleep beneath the ship.  Then he said, "pray to Yahweh like everyone else." But then Jonah said, "the storm is my fault throw me into the sea."  So they did.

Then a big fish swallowed Jonah and the storm died down.  Jonah stayed in the big fish for three days and three nights.  Then the big fish spit Jonah out onto dry land. After that Jonah decided to go to Ninevah, he told the people "Yahweh will destroy the city in forty days."  The people repented so Yahweh forgave them.

So if Yahweh tells you do something we must listen.
