Feast Guidelines
We at Yahweh's Restoration Ministry want you to have a Feast to remember. That is
why we have set these guidelines. They are presented not
only for order, but also for protecting everyone and making the Feast
enjoyable for all. We present them here so that you will know what to expect at
the Feast.
Proper Feast Conduct Is Important
We at Yahweh's Restoration Ministry do not "speak in tongues" as is
commonly practiced, and therefore it is not in our services. If you believe in
doing so, we ask that you
respect our beliefs in this regard while at the Feast.
All speakers are pre-selected to give messages at the Feast. We will not be adding
others to the speaking rostrum. We do, however, want to have brethren involved and will be
needing men to moderate and give Psalms and prayers.
When a speaker is delivering his message please show respect and refrain from
interrupting him. If you have a question, ask it after services. Please also try to remain in your seats during the
message. It is distracting to the speaker and to those listening if some are wandering
around the meeting hall during a sermon. If you must get up, please do so as quietly
as possible.
All parents please watch your children during the Feast
and especially at services. We expect all parents to have their children under control.
We
understand that children are children and that they have a need to play and have
fun--but the meeting hall is not the place. They will have abundant opportunities and appropriate times to do just that.
During the Sabbaths and High Days children are to be in services with their
parents.
We will have special classes for the children at other times throughout the
Feast.
The primary reason we attend the Feasts is to
learn about Yahweh's will for us. Therefore, everyone should want to attend the
scheduled services. We dedicate this time to Yahweh and believe that avoiding services is disrespectful to Him. We
understand that sometimes brethren simply cannot attend some services for personal
reasons.
Musical instruments are welcomed accompaniment
during the song services, and will be played in front of the congregation.
All women attending services are expected
to wear a head covering (1st Corinthians 11). If you do not have one we can
provide one for you.
How to Address Problems
If you have a problem or need, we ask that you to take it up with a camp
monitor. Yahweh's Restoration Ministry appoints certain men to help the brethren
throughout the feast. Please bring your questions or problems to them and not to
the
campground staff. If you have a question for the campground staff, please tell the camp
monitor. He will relay any necessary information to the camp, and then get back with you. The
camp monitor's job is to make everything run as smoothly as possible by being
responsive to your needs.

guidelines, please e-mail us at: mail@yrm.org
