TABERNACLE IN TENNESSEE’S CUMBERLAND MOUNTAINS!
Make plans now to join Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry at Pickett State
Park’s group camp, for the Feast of
Tabernacles and Last Great Day Sept. 20-27,
2005. Pickett State Park is located in northeastern Tennessee
in the picturesque Cumberland Mountains, a fitting location for the Feast,
Pickett is an ideal place to appreciate Yahweh’s creative work, to learn
His Word, to escape the world, and to rejoice during one of the most
memorable times of the year. A host of activities is planned, both in
learning and growing through Yahweh’s Word with likeminded believers as
well as taking the utmost advantage of what this great park has to offer.
Many Activities Planned
There will be a daily worship service throughout the Feast (two on high
days) with at least one open Bible study. You will need appropriate dress
clothes for services (preferably dresses for ladies and dress shirts and
pants for men).
There are many extracurricular activities offered at or near Pickett State
Park, including: hiking, biking, softball, volleyball, basketball,
canoeing, boating, fishing (Tennessee fishing license required) whitewater
rafting, and tennis. The ministry has tentatively scheduled a group hike,
softball game and whitewater rafting.
Additional activities planned include: men’s “cowboy” BBQ, women’s
“home-style” breakfast, campfire sing-along, and the always-stimulating
Scriptural Challenge.
Don’t delay; join Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry at Pickett State Park for a
Feast that promises to be a blessing and time that you will not soon
forget.
Lodging at the Group Camp
The group camp at Pickett State Park contains six large bunkhouse buildings
giving a total of twelve bunkhouse rooms. Each room sleeps up to twelve.
The bunkhouse rooms include electricity, two sinks, heat and A/C. Each
bunkhouse building also contains a common sitting room. Basic tenting spots
along with spaces for RVs will also be available at the group camp. (No
immediate water or electrical hookups are located at the group camp for
either tents or RVs, so come prepared to “rough it” if you wish to camp.)
The group camp also contains a large meeting hall with a communal kitchen.
The kitchen includes a walk-in refrigerator and freezer, icemaker,
microwave, coffeemaker, dishwasher, industrial grill and oven. Although the
communal kitchen is open to all at the group camp, the ministry encourages
feastgoers to bring a camping stove or hot plate and ice cooler for your
personal convenience. Two, large, newly renovated bathhouse
buildings are centrally located at the group camp.
Because of the limited number of rooms at the group camp, single
might be required to share a bunkhouse room.
room. Therefore, those who are single staying in a bunkhouse room will need
to share their room with other feastgoers (of the same gender). For those
with a sleeping disorder that might impact others (snoring, for example),
the ministry requests that consideration be given to reserving a cabin at
the main park or staying in a tent or RV at the group camp.
Reservations for the group camp are to be made through Yahweh’s Restoration
Ministry. A printable reservation form will be made available online soon.
The cost for the bunkhouse rooms will be $200 for the entire stay of the
Feast. Basic tenting at the group camp for individuals or families will be
$75 for the entire stay of the Feast. Note: those staying at either the
main park or group camp must send in a reservation form with a
non-refundable $25 supply charge, which will help us with meeting hall,
kitchen, and bathroom supply costs.
Main Park Lodging
In addition to the group camp, the ministry has also set aside five cabins
at the main park for Sept. 19-28. These cabins are approximately one mile
from the group camp where we will be meeting. Those who desire to stay in
one of the five cabins may choose from three cabin types:
Chalet (2): sleeps 2, cost: $65 weekdays and $78 weekends.
Rustic cabin (1): sleeps 4, cost: $65 weekdays and $75 weekends.
AAA cabins (2): sleep 6, cost: $80 weekdays and $99 weekends.
If you reserve one of these five cabins at the main park, we ask that you
be sure to make the reservation under your name using your credit card.
This allows the ministry to be free from additional cost and liability at
the main park. Individual cabin reservations at the main park can be made
by calling Pickett State Park at (877) 260-0010. Camp policy requires YRM
to drop any unreserved cabins by the end of July, so if you want a cabin,
act now!

The Feast of Tabernacles is a commanded observance, Leviticus 23:34, and
could well be the all-important time when the “woman” is taken into the
wilderness for protection in the days preceding the coming of Yahshua. His
Feasts will be kept in the Kingdom as well, Zechariah 14:16-19, Ezekiel
45:25. Shouldn’t you and your family be learning of His ways now?
