Unleavened Bread 2009
Yahweh granted many blessings and breakthroughs this past Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread. It all began two weeks prior with an Abib new moon we thought would be particularly hard to see, made more challenging by rainy weather throughout most of the southern half of the U.S., including Missouri. Not only was the moon sighting confirmed in rarely-seen-from northern states, but Yahweh also parted the cloud cover for a picture-perfect visual right from the meeting hall at Holts Summit. We praise Him for His benevolence.
 
One member remarked that the Feast of Unleavened Bread '09 at Holts Summit was like a mini-Tabernacles. Visitors hailed from Canada to Texas, from Washington State to Maryland, from North Carolina to New Mexico and California. And even a visit by a couple from England. It truly was a spiritually energizing time of fellowship and learning, a full week of activities. This was also the first Passover service we ever recorded on DVD, which can be requested or downloaded for home use in the future. During the Feast we heard messages on the meaning of leavening, had in-depth studies on the Book of Zephaniah, enjoyed a Mediterranean dinner with all the trimmings, enjoyed a Hebrew costumed music night, learned about leavened bread at the Unleavened bread bakeoff with the children, took two educational field trips, and enjoyed many late-night discussions of Bible truth.
